Qovia® provides monitoring and management for Cisco IP telephony networks, monitoring and enhancing call quality and increasing user satisfaction. Qovia’s IP telephony monitoring and management system is an ideal complement to Cisco CallManager™, providing real-time analysis for Cisco VoIP call quality and helping IT to identify and troubleshoot call quality problems before they occur. You can also use Qovia products to track your Cisco IP telephony assets. And, Qovia’s monitoring and management system has been certified by Cisco for guaranteed compatibility.

Instead of simply using CallManager call data records to evaluate quality of service (Qos), Qovia sensors sit directly on the IP telephony network and collect actual voice packet data for monitoring a Cisco IP telephony call in real time. This data gets aggregated and streamed to Qovia® Service Manager, a centralized monitoring and management software center, so that IT operators can determine the quality of a call as it occurs – not just by looking at the average quality across a call. Using MOS (Mean Opinion Score) to determine call quality, Qovia’s products monitor and determine the quality of calls, issue alerts based on user-defined thresholds, and troubleshoot problems that affect MOS. And, because this solution was customized specially for Cisco, the MOS calculations address Cisco-specific voice traffic.

Qovia’s monitoring capabilities support a wide range of Cisco IP telephony equipment, including routers, switches, phones and CallManager servers. And, Qovia leverages CallManager and CallManager Express servers for phone inventory information.
