Qovia sensors are placed on an IP telephony network to collect critical call quality information as calls occur. The sensors monitor voice-specific RTP data streams and send call quality information to the Qovia Service Manager software center, which calculates a Mean Opinion Score (MOS) for each monitored call. Rather than determining the average quality for a call, the end-user’s call experience is captured, analyzed and reported every 60 seconds for an accurate reflection of call quality as a call occurs. Voice quality alerts are issued when specific user-defined thresholds for call quality are exceeded.

Qovia sensors come in three sizes for unlimited scalability and directly interface with IP PBXs and other VoIP network devices to provide dedicated, real-time IP telephony monitoring and information gathering. You can install an unlimited number of Qovia sensors throughout the network to address requirements across the enterprise.
