Supporting the Business of Life and Health

Building on skills as a technical journal and book editor for the American Psychological Association, I have developed continuing medical education for specialized medical professionals and case-based training for public health professionals, as well as helped business professionals build product knowledge and ethical/cultural awareness to drive business success.

Each of these efforts to translate research to practice was optimized to deliver training at the point of need through engaging storytelling and innovative audio-visual methods.

I hired Mollie as a contract writer/instructional designer for various e-Learning programs. She took on each new project with enthusiasm. She diligently worked on writing well-written and thorough storyboards that exceeded expectations, and she managed the content development process with several very difficult clients, with ease….always keeping the learner at the center of the process.

Working with Mollie McCormick was a pleasure from start to finish! She applied her significant instructional design expertise to our pediatric disaster health online lessons, creating a fantastic interactive platform for what can be challenging material. Mollie was always incredibly professional and deadline driven.

Mollie was the editor/instructional designer under a special contract for an online learning course at Johns Hopkins University. She was highly skilled at condensing a complicated set of ideas into succinct storyboards and ingenious learning games. Her writing flowed beautifully, was “on point,” and exactly portrayed what I wanted to be presented to the learner.
