Challenge
The American Psychological Association Insurance Trust (APA Trust) identified a need for APA Employees to recognize compliance issues with ethical guidelines and avoid costly litigation. They approached Enforme Interactive for a solution.
My Role
As a contracted instructional designer with Enforme Interactive, I was tasked with supporting development of web-based continuing education: developing Case Study scenarios, writing audiovisual interactions and scripts + assessment questions. I also provided “in-house” management of assets for the prime contractor.
Action(s)
I developed Modules 1- 4 of an 8-module training program, organizing materials and populating the website. Wrote case overviews and timelines; designed audiovisual interactions for development; choose/edited supporting graphics; edited/processed audio; communicated daily from off-site with programmers/project leads.
Result(s)
The resulting APA Trust training was deployed for all APA members to immerse them in typical scenarios for learning and significantly reduce their exposure to litigation or wrongdoing.
