Challenge
The Internal Masonry Institute (IMI) approached Mosaic Learning to revise its instructor-led in-person training for Introduction to Masonry and Brick and Mortars.
My Role
As Lead Instructional Designer at Mosaic Learning, my responsibilities included collaborating with stakeholders to update content and objectives and updating two courses in the IMI instructor-led training portfolio, as well as supervising designers and print contractors to output the branded deliverables.
Action(s)
I updated content per stakeholder needs, worked with the graphic designer to update the IMI PowerPoint template, then rebuilt the instructor slide decks (12 per course, adding videos) and facilitator and participant workbooks using MSWord and Adobe InDesign to output print-ready files.
Result(s)
Stakeholders reported that trainers were immediately able to transitioned to using the new materials for nationwide trainings. Feedback for corrections from trainers was overwhelmingly positive, with minimal requested changes.
