Managing the People Side of Change
Learning professionals are, by nature, change agents who often support wide-scale organizational change initiatives. What’s little known is that organizational change results only when each individual chooses to change. I’ve supported various large-scale initiatives across my federal service, including adoption of NSA policy development processes and Communities of Practice and all-employee NPS Operational Leadership, psychological safety, and safety practices.
I have guided people through redevelopment of process workflows, quality assurance initiatives, and adoption of tools to drive business efficiency and elevate learning and development best practices (agile management, assessment and measurement). I continue to study change management from various evidenced-based perspectives and am a Prosci® Certified Change Management Practitioner.
