Psychological Safety was a new concept to most National Park Service (NPS) employees, but a critical concept if we are to ever realize the Respectful, Inclusive, Safe, and Engaged culture we are seeking to develop. The materials and resources you helped to develop and make available paved the way to meaningful discussions occurring across the service that should culminate in workplaces where open and honest communication is not just accepted but sought after.
